CRY - Child Rights and You UK, is a non-profit organisation that works towards restoring rights to underprivileged children, especially Indian.
CRY UK works to ensure that all children get the four basic rights defined in 1989 by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and ratified by India in 1992 , i.e.,
- the right to survival, life, health, nutrition, name and nationality
- the right to development, education, care, leisure, recreation
- the right to protection from exploitation, abuse, neglect
the right to participation, expression, information, thought and religion |
